Our school has started as a Talgar Kazakh Turkish High School in Talgar district of Almaty in 2011-2012 academic year. The school was built by TIKA(Turkish cooperation and Coordination Agency) and donated to DATUB (The World Union of Ahıska Turks).Our school continues to provide education and training under the “Orphaned Children Education Fund which operates within the body of The World Union of Ahıska Turks. Founder and owner of the school is Ziyatdin KASSANOV. The name of our school was changed as Talgar Private Boarding High School No. 1 on June 1, 2016 and The teachers of Turkish Republic Ministry of National Education started to work. Eight Turkish teachers with 29 local teachers are still working at our school.
